Who is Woopaa?
We all love a good story, especially one that has meaning behind it.
You might think the “Woopaa” name is just fun and catchy, but it has real sentimental value.
JP a lifelong friend of Larry Barker’s was notorious for yelling “Woopaa!” Anytime you heard “Woopaa!” You knew JP was close by!
JP was a cowboy, an all around great man, and loved by many.
After loosing JP to his battle with cancer, Mr. Larry Barker had been waiting on a special bull for the “Woopaa” name. He knew he had to be a good one, a real winner to carry on the “Woopaa!”
So when Mr. Larry named a red bull branded 124 “Woopaa” the story was already in motion.
We know JP has been watching over Woopaa all year long.
Here is to JP and his namesake 124 Woopaa❤️

About larry Barker
Larry Barker has been interested in rodeos and bucking bulls since childhood so when the opportunity to invest in a “Bodacious” bull called “Little Bo” in 2007 came along Larry did not hesitate. From then on the hobby quickly became a full(y)-fledged business in what is now Barker Bulls.
The Barker Bull training facility was built in 2011 thanks to many members of the Barker family. By 2016 the herd has expanded to include such bloodlines as Houdini, Little Yellow Jacket, Bodacious, Black Ice, Comanche Moon and Blueberry Wine.
